It has few different names but the most common is "Kunga kedja" (King's chain),"Stenebylänk" (Chain of Steneby) or "Bysantisk kedja" (Byzantian chain). This chain is made of a 1 mm silver string. It is made by hand according to very old methods, just like the Vikings did it. These kind of chains have been found among old relics in Viking graves in Scandinavia.

How these are being made
First the string is wired around a stick and sawed into rings. The tools that is being used is a saw, stick and tongs and the artisans hands.
The rings are now put together into a pattern named Steneby/King Chain. You need to be very good with your hands to be able to put these together since the rings are small and you have to hold them in a certain way. It takes many hours doing a part of this chain. So the price is set depending on how long chain you need. You choose this at the top, beside the price.
